67 Crewcab 4x4
Ran across this one just up the road from me yesterday. Too much $$$ for me, but looks pretty clean. Would like to see the back of the cab and see how good a job they did on it.

Wish it was a long bed but still cool.

Re: 67 Crewcab 4x4
Looks like a real good start. I'm just not a fan of the suburban roof. It needs to be changed to a pickup roof. That being said, if the work is good, I would price it in the low teens at least.

Re: 67 Crewcab 4x4
Looks like a clean truck from the 1 pic. I don't know how anyone can make statements of what it is or isn't worth based on 1 pic, not talking to the owner and not seeing it in person though. It's worth what someone pays. I hope he gets a pretty penny if the work is clean.

Time for me to learn something. Whats the difference between the pickup roof and suburban roof?

Re: 67 Crewcab 4x4
Looks like it's nicely done. I agree, value is up in the air. Same with the heavily modded and slammed ones. This looks like nice simple truck with clean lines and would be a good knock-about for someone with a family and a desire to collect. Hard to find that combo which adds value IMO.....

The suburban has a taller profile.

Re: 67 Crewcab 4x4
Looks like a Suburban that has been bobbed with a bed thrown on the back. See the lack of a door behind the driver door? Most pick up crew cab conversions I have seen typically have four doors, not three. Still, a nice truck, but maybe not as much fab work involved as doing this to a pick up.

Re: 67 Crewcab 4x4
Yup, that's exactly what it says.... "built from a Suburban with 6" Pickup Box".
Although I'm reasonably sure he used a six foot box, not a six inch box. ![]() It would be nice to see it in person. As has been said, it's hard to tell the value by one pic.

Re: 67 Crewcab 4x4
The cab to bed gap looks wide to me, and it would look better with the truck roof but it is still a pretty cool build. I'd drive it no doubt!
