17.5" steel wheels
I saw a early 60s 3/4 ton gmc in a junkyard with 3 of the 17.5" steel wheels still on it. They are single piece wheels ( not split rim ) with clips for hubcaps. Is anybody still running these ? Can you get tires for them ? How much are they worth if anything ?

Don't feel bad, I said 4' cowl induction in another thread.. Onlinetires.com is where I purchase my tires. I bet they got something for them.

Re: 17.5" steel wheels
Pimpstone your Canadian Built truck does come with a Metric conversion. So the formula is a little complicated, but does work out to 6 lug on 5.5. As a Canadian I go through this all the time. I heard F**D stole the idea.

Re: 17.5" steel wheels
My '63 was supposed to have 17.5's on it, only has one of the rims on it now. I thought about going back that way but the tire selection is pretty meager.

Re: 17.5" steel wheels
I feel they have some value. Several different ways to go for tires but like stated, they are expensive. Im currently using three different tire styles and feel the look is worth the price if you like stock. My first set of 8 lug 17.5s I paid 200.00 for a set of 4 which today is reasonable.
