motor trans question
Ive got the 76 with the250 I 6 motor and the standard 3 speed on the column shift. Finallt started restoring it and Im debating on getting rid of the 3 speed and putting in an automatic. Can anyone tell me what automatics will bolt right up to this six banger . I assume ill also have to get a flywheel too right?

Bob, I am almost positive the bolt pattern and many other things is the same as a small block. the 67-72 guys may know this better. DAVE

Dave is correct, and Yes, you will need a flexplate (auto trans) to replace your flywheel (manual trans).
