#rojok5blazer (bagged red K5 Blazer) 2wd project

Hello everyone, back in November I sold my suburban wit the intentions to start flipping vehicles on the side. I had also made up my mind that if I found something special that I would possibly build another project. Well I came across this blazer and made it mine so there goes the idea off flipping anything very quickly. I was excited to get the project home to see if I made a good purchase or not.I have not had very good luck buying vehicles sight unseen in the past and this one ended up being no different.

Re: #rojok5blazer (red K5 Blazer) project

The engine was supposed to be a fresh built good running 427 BBC but upon inspection when I ran the numbers ended up being a mid 70s 454 with 72 402 heads that would barely run. I contacted the seller and tried to get him to make it right by refunding some money or taking the blazer back but had no luck with that so all I could do is try to make lemonade from lemons so here we are. I traced the #'s on it and ended up finding out that it was originally a government vehicle painted beige and had a 6 cyl. engine, camper mirrors, posi track rear end, and utility buckets.

Re: #rojok5blazer (red K5 Blazer) project

I intended on selling the big block to fund an LS swap but after finding out that the engine wasn't what it was supposed to be I'm trying to see if its worth using or just going ahead with the plan an installing a LS based engine. Oh I forgot to mention that it has a truck 5 speed from I'm guessing a early to mid 90's Chevy. I started the transformation by installing a basic manual air ride system that Boris (way2low2) help me put together for it.
