Does anyone know any other gauges other than the dakota digital vhx that I can get already in a cluster that is a direct bolt in?

Re: Dakota Digital vs. ???

I decided to stay away from digital gauges since they "wash out" and are hard to read in the sunlight. This is a big problem in the sunny desert. I am OK with stock gauges - especially since you can often find good use gauges and clusters in the junkyards. I like the LED light upgrade and light painted back plates that some here are doing - looks a lot brighter and more modern.

I've seen a few guages that had black text on white background. Don't care for it myself, but for the people that do it is an option. I think some guys have even laid out the design themselves and printed on paper at home. Might be an interesting look with UV LEDs.
