New to the board
Hi, I have a 64 chevy pick up and I'm averaging about 6 mpg. I know I should be getting way more than that but I don't know what could be the problem. It has a 283 with the power pack heads(pretty much stock) and a 4 speed tranny. I haven't checked the ratio for the rear but I'm pretty sure it's a wide one. Could that be the problem?
