Paint code?
I just got a 79 and decoded the vin, it's a conventional cab, 5.7L, 4bbl, 1/2 ton hailing from Fremont... But no paint code in the vin?
The carpet was not in the truck and it looks to be a gloss black in the cab and everywhere else. The exterior was rattle canned flat black. I'd like to to do a resto mod kinda thing but I haven't seen where the interior option code or paint codes are... Any ideas? |

The VIN won't have color code in it. Your SPID sheet will if you still have it.
If it is black, The color is Midnight Black. |

My Truck is Midnight Black, so if you get yours painted that color it will look a lot like this.
