conversion kit for a 61 GMC
I need a disc brake and dropped spindle kit for my 61 suburban and was wondering what the good ones were and if a chevy kit would work.

Re: conversion kit for a 61 GMC
if they make one for a 61 chev I am pretty sure all the front suspension stuff interchanges chev/gmc, so you should be safe ordering parts for a chev to fit on the gmc front suspension.
another thought, is to check out marks build thread- he has instructions on how to update it to a 73-87 style if you want to go that route- that way you have better access to parts _ I have heard that 60-62 ball joints can be expensive.... here is his thread:http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=444502
