Missing SPID! Help!
Looking to buy a suburban but it's missing the SPID. Does anybody know if there is a way to look up the options using the vin #?

Re: Missing SPID! Help!
You have two options:
If it was built in Canada they have a restoration packet you can get, but you aren't going to get it overnight. If you can find the build sheet in the seat springs, or under the carpet, you will have the options. Is there something special about the suburban? A missing SPID isn't the end of the world. I wouldn't pay absolute top dollar for a high optioned Burb missing an SPID, but it wouldn't hurt the value significantly. If it's a fairly plain suburban it wouldn't affect the price at all for me, especially if there wasn't any rust.

Re: Missing SPID! Help!
Thanks for the help. It's a blue suburban that looks like it has a lot of options. One thing caught my eye though, it has the parchment colored door panels. Were the parchment panels an option, or were they installed with the highlander option?
