I disagree.... I know of one that was sold recently that was nice, not over the top, but real nice for $72k. I thought that was crazy but someone paid it and he had many people on the hook.
At $55 that guy is making a little money not much. I understand you can buy them cheaper then building but you should not get beat to bad.
I know to the penny what is in mine and I can say with out a doubt it is more than any car/truck I have ever built.

I would bet in Cali he will sell it for something close to that.

I agree with you. You have to also account for the custom rear door/gate. I thought that was very original idea.

Suburban's do seem very popular at the moment.

Re: super nice burb on ebay

i can't imagine how you'd get that much money in any vehicle unless you paid someone else's $100 shop rate to build it
maybe i'm just a cheap bastard, but i'd rather make a $150 oem hydroboost work than buy a $500 kit
or fab my own motor/trans mount for $10 than buy another $199 kit and i think mine looks better

Re: super nice burb on ebay

All depends on what you like and what you want for a finished product. I have just under $7k just in paint material. Can't change what vendors want for must have products
