does anyone work @ RIDETECH

I have sent emails to ridetech including sales and have got no answers regarding the coilover strongarm kits for the 69 C10.
All i want to know is what coilovers do i need for cruising and some drag racing
IE model numbers and spring rates.

Re: does anyone work @ RIDETECH

We do have at least one guy here from Ridetech. look over in the Suspension Marketplace, they posted specials and stuff before.

As for your question though, there really isn't a simple answer for that. Actually calculating the spring rate involves a bunch of math, which I'm not really qualified to explain. That being said though, when you go to ridetech's website and select the coilovers for the 63-72 from their menus...the only list one part #. http://www.ridetech.com/store/coilov...djustable.html

I work at Ridetech Let me know what email you sent your questions to and I will get it taken care of.

In regards to the coilovers you need for your truck, what motor and transmission are you using? If you are running a small block, or LS motor, our standard kit would work best. If you are using a big block I would bump the front spring rate up some. I would use the HQ series so you can adjust your dampening for the track and for the street.

I would use the 900lb spring in the front on a blown big block. that will give you a good ride quality and the HQ will have enough adjustment to get out and do some racing!
