Hmmm. Your links don't work.

1.5" primary tubes are fine for stock or slightly modified small blocks.

Re: will these SS headers work on our squares??

OK, those links work. Being 3/4 length, those headers should fit your square, but you never know until you try them. I just bought some 1996-2000 cast iron manifolds, and they fit my 82 C10 just fine, although frame clearance is a little tight on the driver's side.

I almost bought some of those crazy-low-priced imported stainless headers, but read on several forums that quality is hit & miss. Typical problems are leaks at welds and warped flanges. But at that price, a guy could afford to deal with a few returns or repairs! At least you wouldn't have to worry about rust eventually peeking through paint or ceramic coatings. I prefer stainless any day, even when it discolors.

1.5" primaries will have a better chance of not hitting spark plug boots. Again, 1.5" is what I'd use unless your engine has aftermarket heads, a big cam, and spends lots of time at high RPMs.

Re: will these SS headers work on our squares??

I used the Ebay headers on my test stand and for the price you cant go wrong. The flanges were thick and were straight. No leaks in the headers but discolored fast. Didn't bother me but letting you know. The hardware was cheap but ok. But the gaskets were junk, so just pickup a set of good ones the first time.
