Re: 04 ls1 4l60e install kit

There really aren't "kits" per se, you just need to assemble the key components. The thing that always makes these questions hard to answer (and the reason that new members ask them), is that there isn't one easy answer.

Some things will come down to preference, budget, and overall goals. Can you tell us a little more about the truck and what you'd like to do with it?

In the meantime, you may be able to find some more detailed answers and an idea of whats involved (from cost, time, and techniques), as well as more idea and options by browsing through the "what ya got" thread up top, as well as the individual builds that you can find in each model section.

If you have specific things in mind to find out in more detail, you might have better luck trying the "search this forum" button on the upper right. Its WAY better than the provided google search, as you can target multiple sections. I.e putting "header choices" or "which mounts 72" will return threads or posts with information targeted at what your looking for. We've got sooo much info floating around on here from years of discussions. Sometimes its hard to re-hash common discussions without actually missing good info and wisdom found in the old posts! Even if you still can't find what your looking for and need to ask more (totally fine, part of the process)...the general ls swap knowledge and ls-related tech you'll pick up along the way WILL benefit you in your swap.

*whew, that got long. Hopefully you can benefit from it, and as I said above, if you want to give us some more info or more specific things in mind, we will post back up.
