Panhard Bar Bushing
I have a 65 C10 with a c-notch and air ride suspension.
I installed an adjustable Panhard bar, set the truck at a comfortable ride height and adjusted the bar to that length and installed it. I use this truck as a truck as well as a cruiser. I noticed the truck starting to shake recently and got underneath it. I noticed the panhard bar (on the pumpkin side) bushing had disintegrated. Does anyone have any insight as to what might have caused this? It was a rubber bushing. Thanks Paul |

Re: Panhard Bar Bushing
My guess is the rubber bushing used in the new panhard bar was sourced from China. The quality of their rubber is crap at best. Most rubber parts from China are lucky to last a year at most. They start to crack and then fall apart.
That's my best guess.
