Fuel Tanks
So recently took apart my 79 c10 and am in the process of making it a k20 by setting the 79 body on a 87 frame and adding dual tanks. I have everything except one fuel sender and the fuel selector valve. I dont know what selector valve to use? And i am keeping it carbureted if that helps
thanks ps If there's anything I'm missing please let me know. This is the only thing keeping me from putting the cab on. |

Re: Fuel Tanks
The 79 used a single-wire switching valve, and it's nearly impossible to find. You might get lucky at a junkyard, but you won't find a new one, even aftermarket.
If you're starting basically from scratch, and looking at routing wires and adding the tank selector switch inside the cab, you're probably MUCH better off upgrading to the 6-wire motorized valve.
