'73 C10 in Oz
Hey Guys!
I'm new to this forum but have seen some amazing stuff being built on here! I thought I'd start a thread on one of my projects so I can keep a track on it's progress. I don't predict it going anywhere quick as I have other builds on the go too but here goes.. So I bought this as an unfinished project, the thing was torn down and basically picked up the shell and a trailer full of parts. It's an ex Canadian truck and was apparently imported and converted here sometime in the 70's. Currently I'm just trying to work out how it go's back together. These 2 pics are from when the previous owner had it, he sold off all the running gear before I got my hands on it

Re: '73 C10 in Oz
I picked up some 17" boyds for cheap, looks like I'll need to open up the bore a little to clear the front brakes but they should do until I can afford some bigger wheels.
I fixed the rust on the cab and gave it a quick lick of colour. It's not a perfect match but will do for now. Got some new rubbers from lmc and put the glass in and fitted some mirrors. Being a converted car my dash is fiberglass, it was in pretty bad shape so I reglassed it where needed a painted it up. I forgot to take before pics.

So that's where the C10 currently sits, it will go on the backburner for a little while as I'm trying to finish of my other long term project, it's a '86 Nissan navara bagged on 22's
