5.3L swap
hello, I'm doing a lsx swap into my 1970 C10 swb and wondering what all needs to be done?
i got the motor and tranny outta the same truck its a 05 and came with everything from the peddles, engine harness, front accs, and all computers. i know i need a fuel pump and fuel lines, engine mounts, tranny mount, and not sure what else? will the stock exhaust manifolds work? any help on the parts i need or even a parts list would be great.

Quote:
- Wiring - Radiator hoses (I'd get a new set for the 2005 truck; they fit with a little trimming) - Setting up the exhaust - Figure out what you're doing with the A/C; using the stock mount is a pain. Quote:

Re: 5.3L swap
Didn't use a set of headers myself, but the stock oil pan fit OK, not ideal, but OK. It does hang down a little below the K-member, but clears everything. Four wheel drive trucks appear to be a different story.
