Re: rim id
I'm thinking that Chevrolet didn't have 8 inch wheels until sometime into the 70's
Photos are worth a lot as we don't know if you are looking at a 5, 6 or 8 lug wheel or anything else about it and I've been playing with these over 40 years and have worked on cars and trucks over 50 years and stamped numbers inside a rim don't mean squat to me as I have no chart and know of no chart to define what they mean. I know guys use those numbers to id certain wheels but that is all I know about it.

Re: rim id
Probably a stock 61 wheel then. It was always my thinking that the wider Chevy pickup wheels were 6-1/2 or 7 up into the 70's
I take it your measurement was taken like this drawing shows?
