Well it's her truck isn't it, not yours?
I wouldn't do that to mine but if she digs it, why not.

I had those on a Dodge truck one time, it made the numbers kinda hard to see in the daytime. Looked cool at night though.
Everytime I pulled through a drive thru somewhere, they would always notice the flames and ask where I got them. If I had it to do again, I would just find some white faces. But like rockHQ said, it is her truck. :p

Its real hard to get the needle's lined back up where they will read correct. But it can be done but its not all that easy as it looks. It might be worth looking into a shop the deals with fixing gauges and speedometers and see what it would cost for them to install the overlay.
Im just thinking of possible future tickets |

My opinion, and you did ask for it, is, it's not my taste. But it's not my truck. I think it would be hard to read the gauges. Personally, I'm not one for this kind of stuff. Next she'll be wanting one of them flame steering wheels.

I would agree with most everyone else here. White face gauges IMO are much better looking. But it being her truck..........Maybe you could find another gauge cluster on Ebay when it comes time to trade the truck in or sell it :p

I appreciate the truth. I let my wife read your responses so I think this changed her mind. I'll be honest I really didnt want to try this. Knowing my luck I would break one of the needles.

If I had the choice, I would get either platinum or SS gauges.
