Re: Starter Issues, 79 c10
check what voltage you are actually getting at the starter before you do anything else time to whip that multimeter out!

Is it a cold start problem or is it a hot start problem.

There has never been a case of a ground being too clean and tight. They are a free place to check.

Re: Starter Issues, 79 c10
Thanks , I got it figured out, the engine to cab ground strap was severed in half, idk how it was starting at all considering the engine is on rubber mounts, but i got a new ground strap and attached it engine to frame and the thing fires right up no issues! thanks guys!
