1989 GMC Suburban - grille problem

Hello:

My 89 GMC burb has a Chevy/bowtie grille on it. No idea why.

I would like to return it to original with an OEM or NOS 1989 GMC Suburban grille.

So far, I have had no luck, despite lots of internet searching. As best I can tell, the 1989 GMC Suburban grille was a bit different then the previous model (1985-1988). I have to assume the one I am looking for would be the same for 1989-1991 GMC Burbs.

Any comments or advice on this subject would be appreciated. Also, any leads on a decent quality aftermarket one. . . and which years of GMC pickup truck/van grilles are the same as the 1989 Suburban grille (if any!).

The '89 GMC Sub. grille is the same as the '89-91 GMC Suburban, Blazer and four door 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. I have seen a bunch of good ones in the salvage yards. Probably would have a difficult time finding every piece you will need NOS.
