1968 GMC C20 on 86 Chevy K10 frame! - Help

I've got a 68 GMC C20 Longbed 3/4 ton, 327/Muncie 4Spd, bodys in pretty good shape. I also have a 86 K10 Longbed 1/2 ton 305/700R4 4X4... I am a Four Wheel guy, and am interested in swapping the 68 body onto the 86 frame! Wondering if anybody has done this before. Ive heard having to use a 3" body spacers on some parts of the frame to compensate for the frame hump in the rear... heard of using some body bolt holes that already line up? Any help would be appreciated!

Don't know about the 86 frame but there has been some other swaps around here, here's 4 that i know offhand. Use the advanced search feature (click search, advanced search) here and start plugging in some key works like frame swap ect and start reading the threads that pop up.
