Best brakes with a 15-16" wheel
The situation -
- CPP modular spindles - 16" Steelies - Existing stock C10 disc brake setup. I'd like to explore some ideas for improved stopping with smaller diameter wheels. I know wheel diameter is usually a limiting factor when improving brakes, but I had these wheels custom built for a somewhat unique frame/body situation, and I wanted to keep an "original" look. So, if I'm stuck with a 16" wheel, what are my best options for improving my stopping ability without massive discs? |

Re: Best brakes with a 15-16" wheel
Good pads and the option of going to 4 wheel disc. I have 73 and up1 1/4 rotors and drum brakes on mine and with good quality pads and shoes The braking is better than the traction. With careful petal pressure its stops really well. Too hard a pedal and it will lock all 4.
