Front coil springs for 6.2 diesel too stiff?
I have a 1/2 ton 2wd with a 6.2 diesel. The truck is great and was well kept. When driving the truck it feels like the front end is rock stiff with 40" tires with 100 psi in them. No body roll at all. Much stiffer than rear. I have 255-60 on stock wheels with 30 psi
My question is, are the front coil springs the same as a big block or do these have their own? I have only owned small block and inline trucks, no idea what's to know about a big block spring. I know the 6.2 is a heavy beast compared to a small block. I haven't pulled them to see the uncompressed height. But the diameter is the same as my small block trucks. I'd like to keep the same height, as I already have a bit of rake but a little lower wouldn't hurt my feelings. It just rides a bit stiff in the front. No tow or haul with this truck so that's not a concern. Any input or knowledge would be appreciated. I did do a search and didn't come up with much. Thanks

-- sitting lower in rear because of some stuff stored in the back, BTW.
