1964 Parking brake kit?
Hello, all! I just picked up a 4 speed (granny) 64 C10 lwb today and realized the e-brake does not work. Crawling under the pickup I found that the only parts I have is the ebrake handle and the cable coming off of it. It has a threaded end. Nothing even going into the drums, just holes.
Is there an all in one kit I can buy? I'm working on the safety parts first with engine and cosmetics coming later. Thanks! Jeff |

I don't know about a kit. The rear cables going into the drums can be bought at NAPA etc.... I had to buy a couple. For the rest look in classic, LMC.

From what I understand the E-brake for a 66 is easier to get hooked up and working because it is a simpler system and there are not as many parts involved.

A picture of what the 66 set up looks like. I don't know if the front cable is the same though. I had to buy them both and it is nice to have e-brake. |
