1/2 ton vs 3/4 ton frames?

Any difference in material thickness, dimensions, etc? Trying to gauge if, longer term, I want to build up my truck again and spec it for 3/4 ton use.

Scroll down to page 151 which will be page 78 on the pfd. That has all 57 truck frame specs. https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/doc...olet-Truck.pdf

Save the link it is one of the best references you will ever find.

Nice resource, thanks. Just swapped the 7 to a 0 in the web address and it gave me the 1950 pdf.

Above page is the index for all of them.

Re: 1/2 ton vs 3/4 ton frames?

according to the fam the 3200 frame and the 3600 frame is the same in all dimensions; l, w & d
3100 frame is the same dimensions as 3200 and 3600 except for length... obviously
