20 years ago S&W now Autometer.....(except for the plastic lens!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I think VDO gauges are pretty good, at least Porsche uses them and they were in my 930 Turbo. Autometer is also well known, but as I said in another post, the company was recently purchased by a holding company that buys up companies for their portfolio. This new owner has a habit in their quest for profits, force their current suppliers to reduce costs and when they don't they buy cheap offshore replacements. Autometer may now be one of the best, but watch out in the future. They may have Taiwan parts and labor in the future.....

I have digital guages. Temp, volts, oil pressure and RPM tach. Seem to work fine.
