door panel trim
ok guys need some help. I have a 78 suburban that im hot rodding. im getting ready to do the door panels. I have the brushed aluminum panel with the cheesy plastic surround. mine are broken and falling apart. I want to make something to replace the surround. has anyone done anything like this? if so how?

Re: door panel trim
funny you are talking about door panels i am also having an issue with my suburban door panels but what i was thinking of doing was actually using my originals but fiberglassing over top of them and some on the back one to reinforce the old plastic that gets brittle but also so i can easily add some subtle custom touches to mine, sand them smooth and paint any color i want
