Bagged 65 4 link help
Hey guys, im doing fab work on my buddys 65. Accuair e level, eventual lq9/t56 swap. We have ss re7 bags going on all 4 corners, plan was to go tri 4 link but i dont think i have enough room to get the right angle in the upper links. I can shorten the links to get more angle but dont wanna go too short, i wanted to go bag on bar outside the framerail with the lowers. Im debating just running this as a parallel and adding a panhard bar. From what ive read i can still go bag on bar outside the framerails with the lower and run the uppers parallel inside the framerails ? Can i still run the uppers shorter than the lowers in a parallel ? In the research ive done i dont see any issues with it. Any advice is appreciated. Heres a few pics

Re: Bagged 65 4 link help
Gorgeous truck. You can flip your four link and build a bridge to mount the bars over the differential. Your roll center will change with height but I dont know if you would ever really notice.
I am running my four link the way you are describing. I build a crossmember to mount all my link tabs and am running the upper bars on the inside and lower bars on the outside.

Re: Bagged 65 4 link help
It will change the angle of your pinion through out the travel. If you plan on riding at different heights (as opposed to just laying out when you park) then I probably wouldnt do it.

Re: Bagged 65 4 link help
I know the pinion will change, it does that with a triangulated setup as well with shorter upper links, but if its setup properly it should only change about 1 degree through its range of motion

Re: Bagged 65 4 link help
Very true. I did mine the same length. I didnt have any problem fitting them.

Re: Bagged 65 4 link help
Nice work man. Looks like a sweet setup !! Does anyone have pics of a parallel setup wothout the links over top of one another ? Id like to keep it bag on lower bar outside the framerail and run the uppers inside the rails

Re: Bagged 65 4 link help
We changed the plans, decided on a parallel 4 link, ordered new upper bars, same length as the lowers and have a panhard bar on the way as well.
