Pete, if that is as dry as he says it is a great rig. That is some good bones.

Re: CL 1971 Blazer - near survivor for someone
Las Cruces is dry - it wouldn't surprise me if it was rust free. If it were closer and I had the space I'd take a serious look.

That looks pretty good. I really like the grill guard too.

That will make somebody a great start for a project, or just a clean up and drive rig. I would be proud to own that if I already wasn't neck deep into my own ochre obsession

Here's a green one in SteamBoat Colorado. Seems like a good buy with a manual. http://rockies.craigslist.org/cto/5472456637.html

Re: CL 1971 Blazer - near survivor for someone
Has anyone looked at this blazer ? I have talked to the owner and he is a little evasive. I can't get an address from him to look at the vehicle ? He wants to meet at a gas station. He is 1000 miles from me and I do not want to waste a trip. ????????

Re: CL 1971 Blazer - near survivor for someone
It's been for sale before on Ebay, I think. I recommend you get a lot of pics and a warm fuzzy feeling from the owner before you spend that much time and money to go look at it.

Re: CL 1971 Blazer - near survivor for someone
Landy are you serious about it really being your twin? This could be a scam where he is trying to sell a vehicle that isnt his.

Re: CL 1971 Blazer - near survivor for someone
No, it's definitely not mine. Mine has A/C, different rims/tires, and front winch bumper and winch.
Good thinking, though. That type of scam seems to becoming more common. |

Re: CL 1971 Blazer - near survivor for someone
I've been looking at this one for a few days now...man I wish it was closer but if it was closer it would look like Swiss cheese!! Most Blazers didn't survive Indiana all that well. I need a blazer project!
