Breather question?
The breather hole that's on the rear driver side cover. Did you guy run a breather here or a pcv valve to your intake? Is either way better?

Re: Breather question?
I am curious what to do with this as well.
the 2003 4.8 I got originally to use in the Suburban had a tube with no valve at all in it. Then I decided to get a 6.0 its a 2002 and it has what looks like a pcv but no valve inside.

So, the answer is that it's part of the PCV system. If you have a later engine with a hose nipple on the valve cover, run a hose to a vacuum source. If you have a hole in the cover, you need the fixed orifice "valve" and then just run a hose from the valve to a vacuum source. |
