Re: inline fuel pump
I used a walbro 255 inline on my 6.0..no issues so far. If your using a new blazer tank why not use a in tank pump?

Re: inline fuel pump
really its easier to plumb it inline, than to cut up and weld in a flange for the in tank pump, unless there is an easier way..

Re: inline fuel pump
Inline pump, vette filter reg is def easier but if I had a new tank to start out with I would have went in tank just to clean it up install and keep the pump cool..noise isnt much of a problem on mine...remember you'll need 3 barb sending unit on your tank..one for suction ..one for return..and one for tank vent.

Re: inline fuel pump
I also used walbro with my LS2 and vette filter/reg combo. So far so good. Once I relocate fuel tank to under bed Ill install in tank pump though. Kill the noise and help pump last longer..

Re: inline fuel pump
Inline pumps are plenty fine for most of what we see folks building on here. The 255's will fuel LS motors up to around 500hp, depending on a few factors.
You get to a certain point when the smaller single pumps won't cut it, you can run twin pumps or one of the "upmarket" inline options. The intank will always have an advantage in terms of supply and cooling, yet when you get REAL big, many of the fuel systems are inline (or high pressure compound fuel systems). The curve kinda goes like this: small inline->(small in tank)->twin inline->(twin intank)->Large intank*uncommon*->Large Inline->Race /Compound Inline->HP Mechanical I don't know why I bothered typing that last part but I did so now you just read it.

Re: inline fuel pump
I've got about 7-8000 miles on my walbro 255 vette filter reg setup...no issues so far, very reliable and seems to be the go to setup for most people
