Not sure if that's it or not I've had it almost make a tic noise and then it starts running rough and feel like it's flooding it self

Re: Rough running 85 c10 problem
Are you sure it's flooding? Notice any blue/black smoke out of the exhaust when it's doing it? Maybe a heat related spark issue. A bad coil sometimes runs great cold, than crappy when it warms up. Also had a 76 that ran fine cold, than very "erratic" after it warmed up. Took me forever, but finally figured out it was the small metal contact that is riveted on the end of the rotor. Cold the plastic contracted keeping the contact solid. Engine warmed up, plastic expanded, and the contact loosened enough to not hit the distributor poles properly.

bad cap, rotor, wires, coil, or module (in HEI) can do this! Anytime an engine is running erratic I check those first!!! 9 out of 10 times its cap/rotor related!

Re: Rough running 85 c10 problem
And yes it does have black smoke when it runs like $hit that's why I thought it was something to do with the fuel system
