Off with the old, on with the new

Last summer (mid July) I ordered up a new front bumper from BUCKSTOP BUMPERS
for my '90 V2500 Suburban. I ordered the BAJA style with cut outs for rectangular rigidlights led lights and front hitch set up. Powder coated hammertone black. It arrived 10 weeks later just in time for the rainy season and just before the freezing season.
So.... it sat. in front of my burb with no brakes all winter. Now it's finally warmed up and dried up enough to put it on.
I thought I'd do a write up on the swap.
I started this after work today 4-27-16 and hope to be done by Friday evening.

Cool, I've lusted after one of those backstop bumpers for some time. How bad was the freight and how did you send it?

Had it shipped to my work address. That was about $250.00 cheaper.
All totaled the bumper was $2275.00 That's including the freight amount of $426.00

Pics of the factory front bumper still on and it's replacement sitting in front of it.

Front bumper off. Just have to remove the 2 outer brackets then I can get the new brackets installed on the frame.

That's all for today. More tomorrow.
