Lokar throttle cable

How did you guys connect your Lokar universal throttle cable at the pedal? If you can provide pics that would be awesome.

I recently tried another brand that I was sent from bowtie overdrives, and I had to rig a setup to connect it to the gas pedal. Also, it wouldn't stay in the ferrule when I pressed the gas pedal to set the TV cable. It kept popping out, making me go shorter and shorter until I couldn't use it anymore. Needless to say I was pretty pissed off.

This is how you do it.
Also a tip. You will need a 3/8 washer for the firewall in the cab and in the engine bay. Then take a grommet and put in side the washer hole. Then slide the cable through it all and screw it together. For added weather proofing use some permatex right stuff around the washer on the fire wall. That's how I did it. Works perfect. Plus I painted my washer black so it would blend in the engine bay. I had to figure all this out on my own. So should be easy peasy now for you!!

Also if it hits the bracket that is above it mine did pull it and cut that lip off with a angle grinder.

Hope what I posted helps out for you and everyone else. If you need to know anything just ask. My entire setup is Lokar stuff.

All you need to do is pull the Lokar cable from the housing, remove the pedal adapter (don't cut it off), and reuse the factory plastic piece that snaps in the throttle arm. Mount the cable housing to the firewall with a couple washers like mentioned above, feed the cable through, and trim to fit. Done.

2 different ways to install it both with the same result. OP should be able to install it now!! I just installed the way the engineer at Lokar told me. I drove over and asked him. Good luck!
