Ridetech shockwave full system?

I used the search function and could not find what I was looking for. Looking for a 67-72 with a full a-arm and trailing arm setup with shockwaves. Looking for a photo at full lift and with all air depressed.

Thanks in advance

Re: Ridetech shockwave full system?

I found i couple of what i was looking for. Still would like to see a picture with bags filled and a side shot. Also a picture of the front member and how close it is when all the air is let out. I was originally set on coils but the CHOICE of adjust ability with shockwaves seems way better.

Ridetech labels there kits as for a 63-70 and a 71-72, is this due to the different spindle for the 5 lug disc?

Thanks

Re: Ridetech shockwave full system?

I was originally set on getting a coil over set up. However it does sound nice to be able to lift the vehicle up if you get any position with a high speed bump or high roadway. Can anybody help explain to me the advantage to having shockwaves Vs. having a traditional airbag and relocated shock mount.

If you're using a same quality of shock, there isn't a notable difference in ride quality. The main benefit is the packaging for the ShockWave & they also have the spring/shock lengths optimized.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Also looks like if you go shockwave you have the improve geometry of the a-arms when you buy the kit. Dont see a kit on there site with regular bags and there improved geomtery a-arms.

hmmm....

The standard C10 Strong Arms have revised geometry.

We can get there standard air bag arms like they uses on the 73-87, and pair it with a double convoluted bag. If you were looking to do this over the Shockwaves up front.

Re: Ridetech shockwave full system?

I am back and forth on what set up I want to run. Has anyone ran a Porterbuilt mild drop member with shockwaves? I'm having a hard time justifying the ridetech kit and it retaining the same front member.

Will th mild front and rear drop member require firewall, tunnel, floor or bed mods?
