Wire harness pass-thru
Hey Everyone,
Finishing up installing my TPI into my dads 1965 C10(family hot rod!). I am now onto wiring harness. I used the stock wiring harness from a 1991 chevy Camaro, and as such it is very long. I was thinking about bringing it along the passenger side frame rail and then punching a hole under the seat, mounting the ecm there. What I am looking for is: passthrough options. I want something waterproof because the hot rod does get driven in the rain occasionally. Alternatively I was thinking about running the harness into the old clutch hole, but that exposes the harness and I am going for the hidden wire look here Thoughts? Other Suggestions? Feedback of some kind? Thanks! Scoutcamper |

Re: Wire harness pass-thru
I just posted similar info on the Correct Factory Restoration thread.
Our trucks cam with a area to transition the wires from the cab to the frame. Rear cab drivers side., do you have this ?

Re: Wire harness pass-thru
The boat vent is a neat idea! I also see the grommet and RTV method but I would like to 1 day be able to remove this harness in tact if I ever upgrade or change things...
