??? about my 5.3 engine

started my ls swap in my '64 and need to know what this line is for. It was ran together with the fuel line in the original truck. Its a 2005 engine and i thought that after 2003 they went to a returnless fuel system.?. Need some help before i start running fuel lines. Thanks..

Its a return line I thought the same thing but i buddy who's intake has one to. Does yours have the DBW or DBC?

That hose on the top front of the intake is not a return line . It is a purge valve for the gas tank pressure . It is not needed at all . Just take the hose off and leave the purge valve in for a plug . All you will need to do on that 2005 engine is to use the corvette filter down on the frame rail that does have a return on it . Then run a single line up to the fuel line on the intake .

Cool, thanks. That will save me some time and trouble running a 2nd line.
