Door frame seals

I recently bought a 1959 Apache 3600 that has been partially restored. Mostly it needs dash controls and all door seals. The circumferential seals that I have bought have pins all around the seal. The doors only have holes in the upper half of the door. I cannot see on the inside of the door where any holes have been filled. Should there be holes on the bottom half of the doors and I should (re) drill them? Or, should I just glue the lower part of the seal to the door?

I can't comment on if there should be holes on the bottom half or not, maybe someone else will comment.
I'm one to avoid drilling holes, so I'd glue it with weather strip adhesive if you want it across the bottom.
When I did my door weather strip a couple years ago, I didn't run any across the bottom, I stopped on the sides and let it be. If the truck had a bottom run of holes originally, I think a PO filled them in, I didn't see any.
