B-47 bearing help
Recently purchased a 63 C20 it's a two wheel drive 8 lug. Whent to replace the front outer wheel bearings and they are big roller ball bearings with a part number of B-47, called the local parts stores and then some, everyone knew what I was looking for but nobody has anything in stock and can't order them. I need to find a replacement set or a interchange bearing. Anything would help thanks

Re: B-47 bearing help
is this what you are looking for?
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...0055&ppt=C0337 make sure that it is the ball bearing one that you want and not the roller needle koyo or torrington bearings ron Last edited by padresag; 09-03-2016 at 01:20 PM. |

https://www.google.ca/webhp?sourceid...s%2C%20georgia I would check your vin # to make sure that you have a 63. in some places if inventory was not sold until the next inventory year they got classified as the current year. someone may also have changed things around and going by bearing # is usually positive for what fits. the timkens are usually less expensive than the 60-62 frt ball brg wheel brgs ron |

Re: B-47 bearing help
If you go to a bearing supply place (industrial supply house), and measure the ID of the race, and the OD of the bearing housing, and the overall width of the entire assembly, that's pretty much the critical dimensions you'll need. After that point, you can replace the ball bearing with a roller bearing of those dimensions.
