Exhaust System Update

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hed-63088

I just got this new set of Headers, since my old 1 5/8" ones were just to rusty. The old pipes are old and rusty also so I'm thinking of buying all that new too before I install everything.
what size pipes do I need to get from the Header Dumps back? And what would be a good sounding mufflers?
Running a 383 Stroker, Custom aluminum Heads,

Wow lucky you glad it worked out, I just tossed my Flowmaster Series 40s for some Magnaflows had way too much drone I couldn't get rid of, and find 2.5" pipes adequate for a 350 with Vortec heads check it out here

one more thing I would advise against chambered designed mufflers ie Flowmasters and would recommend straight through designs like Magnaflows or Dynamax, etc. spoke to Bob at Flowmaster Tech Support and he said drone is just a side effect of their design, his words not mine

Re: Exhaust System Update

To my ears, Flowmasters sound "hollow" and the sound is somewhat "echo-ey."

But I'm also old, and I like glasspacks and old-school turbo mufflers.

Mufflers are one of those things where you kind of gamble and then regret the decision later.

Re: Exhaust System Update

Love my Flow, yep single 3" exhaust with the dual 2.5 outlets dumped in front of the axle, nice deep tone
