Intake to Booster Hose

What hose (part number or size) is required to run from the truck intake 2003 4.8L to the vacuum booster (CPP)?

Is there a specific hose that fits nicely or will a generic size be required?

I don't have the factory hose of the donor vehicle.

Re: Intake to Booster Hose

When I was doing my swap (LQ4 into 87 Suburban) My nipple on the motor was a little different in size than the nipple on my brake booster. I had to get two pieces of hose and a brass barbed adapter from Home Depot to make it work.
I'm sorry I can't remember what size the hoses or the adapter was.

Re: Intake to Booster Hose

I can't remember the part number but I called a local chevy dealer and had them order me the correct part for an '06 Silverado with a V8. Worked perfectly on my '85 Suburban with a 5.3 from an '05 Avalanche. Also had them order me the correct nipple too, I think it was less than $30 for both pieces. Worth the money and way better looking than piecing something together IMO

Re: Intake to Booster Hose

I had the same problem. Ended up using 2002 gmc Yukon Denali hose and fitting. The 2003 Z71 4x4 was to small
