Dynoed My Truck Yesterday

Took my truck in for a tune at Nickey Chicago. They did a great job tuning my truck and spent 6 hours getting it right! It made 407hp and 357 tq. Tourqe is a little low because of the pro flo intake on my set up. My Combo is a stock lq4, stock ls6 heads and a tourqer v2 Texas Speed cam. If you ever need a tune in the Chicagoland area I strongly suggest these guys!

Sounds like you dealt with him. Bad news tho, he's actually in sales support at HP Tuners now because his dad keeps calling if favors with Bill @ HPt.

He really likes turning off knock sensors when he can't make a functional spark curve.

I heard he blew up a 15k dollar motor turning off knock sensors. Must be the same story you heard.

That's nice. I just put a deposit down on an LQ4 last nice so I am really happy to see those rwhp numbers.

Are those the L92 heads? What headers are you using?

Must be a kick in the pants to drive now.

243/799 cathedral port heads. If your running l92 heads it should make even more power.

The engine currently has 317 heads but I might bolt on a set of L92's and put a cam in it before it goes in the truck.

What headers are you running? Everything I read shows long tubes make the best power but I wonder how they will work in a lowered truck.

I'm using Doug Thorley long tubes. They don't hang down at all. Plenty of clearance
