Tailgate rod clip

Please let me re-phrase this question.....

Does anyone know where I can get a rod clip for the tailgate latch? Last part I need to be pretty much done with my truck

Any ideas if the Ike clips paul"sells are the metal like original? No pic of on website....

This is a screenshot from south Kentucky classics I think. I was looking for these a few years ago and I ordered twice from 2 different places (not south Kentucky classics, just took a screenshot now) and got plastic ones both times. Check out a well stocked hardware store ( same section as snap rings and stuff) and they will have the same metal ones as in the pic from 1/8" to 3/8" in bulk bins. I got a handful for a few bucks and threw some extras in my toolbox. I also found one for my throttle linkage in my '69. I later seen them at Napa for double price

Thanks for the reply. I was able to find one at my local chevrolet dealer in a box of junk. Took alot of looking but i got one in metal
