Quick caliper question

These are my first disc brakes I just purchased. The seal around the piston cup doesn't look right in the top part of the photo. Is this caliper okay to use?

Re: Quick caliper question

Maybe yes, maybe no.
Bottom line - if you are not sure, exchange it. You do NOT want to take any chances with your brakes.
Greg.

Re: Quick caliper question

Look like the piston seal isn't installed correctly. Looks like it's rolled over around the upper part of the picture to me.
