Rear End Swap to 5 Lug

I recently purchased a 1983 c10 roller in order to get front crossmember and rear end for my '61. Im curious if the rear end will go under my truck without any issues. I know i have to attach the panard bar but will the rear end bolt back up to the existing driveshaft and line up with the wheel well as the factory 61 rear end? any help appreciated.

Re: Rear End Swap to 5 Lug

The later model rear end will need the leaf spring pads replaced with the correct ones for trailing arms on your '61. It will also be about 1.5" wider from WMS to WMS. I am not sure about the U-Joint on the factory '61 rear being the same as the later model.
