Door's
Bought new door seals and weather strips for the Ramp truck last weekend at the Run to the Sun car show in Myrtle Beach SC.
It's a nice day so I started on them. Both doors need all new stuff. I also have been waiting to do this to make door panel patterns to have new panels made like I did on the 71. Pretty simple panels that cover up the whole door almost. They work great for the doors that had holes cut for speakers. Hey guy's where can I get the nuts that go in the door for the arm rest's. I need just one.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. Last edited by Andy4639; 03-24-2017 at 02:09 PM. |

Re: Door's
The holes are square so I used license plate inserts and they seem to be holding just fine.

Re: Door's
I can't remember the proper name of these (capture nuts?) but I found some at my local Ace Hardware.

Re: Door's
Thanks guy's I'll look for them tomorrow. Lowes didn't have anything.
I thought about the plastic nuts for tags but they are to big for the opening. I had a set of the plastic nuts for head light adjusters worked perfect.

Re: Door's
I got a cheap tool from harbor freight that is like a rivet gun but it rivets a threaded insert in there. Worked amazing po tried tack welding a nut there eventually it just rusted off

Re: Door's
Got the pattern for both doors so Monday i will drop them off at the interior place to have them made up.
Pretty simple door panels nothing to really do but make the doors look a little better. Going to be like the 71's.
