Re: I'd like Dropp my 79 C10
Could you recomend me the best solution to drop my Truck. I don't know if the best choise is 3" drop DJM Control Arms or 3" drop spindles considering the performance in daily use. The other 2" I think that I'll use short springs. For rear 6” FLIP KIT WITH C-NOTCH.
The idea is a nice look and improve the estability to Hi speed. Thanks for any help Best Regards |

Re: I'd like Dropp my 79 C10
Stay away from djm parts are poorly made an those controls the spring pocket will scape an even seen one break.....always go spindles and springs....go with belltech flip kit an c notch rear with some shock extenders for front go with western chassis spindles an springs an get some belltech drop shocks front and rear....

Re: I'd like Dropp my 79 C10
Good info, but this is one place that Belltech is not necessary. You can use a OEM sway bar from a C10 or a C20 and accomplish the same thing for a lot less money.

Re: I'd like Dropp my 79 C10
Could you tell me the best way to drop 7" rear?
Rear I'm thinking in belltech c-notch/flip kit (6") and shackles (2-3"). Could you recommend me a shock set? Thanks a lot |

Re: I'd like Dropp my 79 C10
I just got mine dropped today. 1985 Longbed Scottsdale
Question: Does anyone have clearance issues with front wheels? I did a 4.5 drop in the front and a 6 inch in the rear. I currently have 15 inch rallies but would like to change up the tire combination. Wondering if that will help? Would appreciate any input |

Re: I'd like Dropp my 79 C10
Sorry tires are rubbing on wheel well. There is only about a inch above the tire.
Looks great I just have to fix the rub before I have a blow out. |
