New member from Australia

Hi everyone just thought I'd say G'day (hello).
My name is Robert and I've not long ago bought a beautiful 1961 apache c10
( you guys call it a ugly snout LOL )and I can't wait to see it for the first time in the next 3 weeks. I'm hoping I don't need to bother you guys to much and hope I can read my way through this process. I also have a 1962 Cadillac coupe De ville that I have imported into Australia and Have been involved in the 1961 62 Cadillac forum for about 10 years and thanks to that site have learnt a lot and have meet a lot of new people, I'm hoping to do the same here.
Thanks guys hope I will be part of the team.

Welcome aboard! And you have a left hooker, too!

Looks good to me - always loved those snouts.

Thanks guys
And yes Ray she's a lefty and she will stay that way, the only hard thing about a left hooker is to try and remember what side of the car I need to get into.

Gday Robert,
nice truck mate. Where did you find it?
I'm still waiting for mine to get here too. Its a slow process.
Have you seen many of these early 60s trucks around Melbourne?
Ive only seen one, but I gotta get out more.
What part of Melbourne are you in?

Hi Tony
Thanks mate, I got the old girl from eBay from a guy near Ohio.
Yes it is a slow process but don't worry it will get here soon.
I have seen a few of these 60s trucks there's a nice one that lives near me.
I live in the kinglake west area, what area are you from?
See ya Tony.

howdy from Indiana, and just eht other day I saw a truck the same year as yours but completely finished in a bright tangerine color. Very cool looking with chromed American Racing wheels. Again welcome and please don't ever think you are bothering anyone. Remember the only dumb question is one that has not been asked. (or something witty like that) lol

Thank you
I think I will keep her looking the way she is at the moment and get all the mechanics running the way the should and stick a fresh engine in her for now.
But I would love to bring her back to her former glory.
And thanks again.
Cheers
