New guy from sac

Greetings guys and girls.

I am an old gearhead, have built and continue to build cars and trucks.

First off, thanks to everyone that takes time to help us ignorant folks.

I am currently tasked with the job of converting a 60 4x4 apache to power steering. I have spent way too much time to try and find the parts I need.

The 60 to 62 kits I see seem to have cross steer, with pitman arm coming out bottom of box. My 4x4 solid axle pitman arm comes out side and straight down, with linkage to the rear.

I am not attempting to save money, I just want to know if I can buy a kit, or do I head to junk yards.

I will stop there, and attempt to search threads here. This is a half ton short bed 4x4. Been off the road for 20 years, my task is to make it road worthy.

Thanks much in advance.

Welcome from SF Bay Area. There's a forum specific to your year of truck, I would post your question there.
